Next Frontier Biosciences (NFB) is a Colorado-based biotech company developing best-in-class purified cannabinoid products for the treatment of chronic pain and other serious medical conditions. This lunchtime presentation will provide an overview of the endocannabinoid system and its relevance to cannabis. It will also review medical uses for cannabis and the concept of microdosing for wellness.

Check-in begins at 11:30. The luncheon will be at 6510 W. 91st Ave., Suite 106, Westminster, CO 80031, and runs from 12:00 to 1:00 with a catered lunch. All are welcome to pay  2019 SWEP Membership fees at check-in.

About the speaker:

Dr. Colagiovanni is responsible for the day-to-day management of Next Frontier Biosciences’ research and development activities as well as supporting the commercialization of the company’s products. She has over two decades of pharmaceutical development experience with an emphasis on project management, pharmacology and toxicology. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Colagiovanni held scientific leadership roles with Nivalis Therapeutics and Replidyne. She also held research positions with OSI Pharma, Gilead Sciences and Amgen. Dr. Colagiovanni has a broad range of development experience, starting from early drug discovery and clinical trials through regulatory approval and commercial launch. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Molecular Toxicology.
